YHA Blaxhall is a Green Tourism award-winning building which has some wonderful credentials, such as being powered by solar energy and a garden which encourages biodiversity. Great for wildlife lovers.

Across the entire building there is a total of nine bedrooms.

Ground floor

One en-suite room that sleeps up to 2 people. It includes a double bed.

One room that sleeps up to 3 people. It includes a single high-sleeper bunk with a double bed underneath. This room is wheelchair accessible.

Two rooms that sleep up to 4 people each. They include 2 sets of bunk beds.

One en-suite room that sleeps up to 6 people. It includes 3 sets of bunk beds.

Four rooms that sleep up to 6 people each. They include 3 sets of bunk beds.

A cot is available.

Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is located on the ground floor and includes a range of conveniences listed below.

Kitchen appliances: freezer, grill, kettle, microwave, 2 ovens, 2 refrigerators, toaster.

Kitchenware: dishes and cutlery for 43 people, kitchen utensils, pots, pans.

Cleaning basics: anti-bacterial spray, bin bags, cloths, paper towels, soap, sponges, tea towels, washing up liquid.

Located on the ground floor, the dining room seats up to 43 people. There are tables, chairs and benches.

Highchairs are available.

Lounge

The lounge is located on the ground floor and seats up to 20 people. There are comfy sofas, armchairs and a TV.

You can play board games or relax with views of the pretty fields beyond from the conservatory windows.

Bathrooms

Across the entire building there is a total of four bathrooms, including a wet room that is wheelchair accessible.

The hostel sits on the edge of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, one of the best areas for wildlife watching in Britain.

YHA Blaxhall is self-catering only. Our kitchen includes everything you need to cook up a storm.

Bring your own food and make use of our ovens and refrigerators (with freezer compartments) plus a microwave, kettle and toaster. Dishes and cutlery are provided as well as cleaning essentials.
