You have always wanted to spend the night in a house by a lake? Then come to Urfeld on the Walchensee lake! You can master the waves by taking your surfboard to the water from the Hostel’s own landing stage. You can already let your eyes wander across the water at breakfast time. Later in the day, how about an outing to the film set of “Vicky the Viking”? In summer, you can climb the summits of the Karwendel mountains, and in winter, you can ski down their slopes to the Hostel by the Walchensee lake. Is it raining? Then take in the paintings of expressionist Franz Marc. And where else would be a better place for that than in the “blue country” itself?
