Located in the leafy neighbourhood of Laugardalur, Dalur Hostel & Cafe is a quiet oasis in the busy city. - Laugardalslaug pool next door is the largest in Reykjavik with two 50m swimming pools, slides, paddle areas, and of course plenty of geothermal hot tubs.
- Reykjavik Park and the zoo is home to a range of Icelandic animals – farm animals such as horses, cows, and sheep live here as well as seals, arctic foxes, and reindeer who are being rehabilitated before being set free.
- Take the scenic half hour stroll to downtown Reykjavik along the seafront, and admire the view of the Esja and Snaefellsnes Peninsula.
