Larochette, often known as ‘Fels,’ derives its name from the towering rock upon which the castle was constructed. Even today, the castle ruins command a view over the White Ernz Valley. Larochette’s charm extends beyond its castle, as the historic market square, ancient winding alleys, historic monuments, and the vibrant mix of nationalities create an enchanting atmosphere. Nestled within a spacious park, our youth hostel offers a serene escape, complete with small bungalows, relaxation areas, and direct access to the region’s hiking trails. With 79 beds distributed among 13 double rooms, one triple room, seven bungalows with five beds each, and one chalet with 15 beds, we cater to various group sizes. A common room is available for our guests to unwind. At ‘Melting Pot,’ our in-house restaurant, indulge in daily menus and savor local and seasonal specialties ‘à la carte’ with advance reservations.
