Lomakivi is located on a farm between Lahti and Kouvola. At Lomakivi, you can spend time close to many recreational areas and services. You can stay in the holiday house on the grain farm. The hostel is also suitable for groups. The family’s horses and ponies also stay on the farm, and they occasionally compete in horse races.
The accommodation rooms are situated in the same holiday house. Guests have access to a shared kitchen, living room, and washing facilities. The sauna is available upon separate arrangement. Meal services and breakfast are offered to groups and guests by advance order.
In the surroundings of Lomakivi, there are plenty of activities available: a golf course, guided archery and church boat rowing, a beach, ski trails, and a village center are within walking distance. A 7.8 km nature trail and a 1.1 km running track start from Lomakivi’s own yard. Bicycles can be rented from the hostel.
In the vicinity of the farm, there are local settlements and training and competition venues for various sports. Repovesi National Park and the Werla Ironworks Village are within an hour’s drive. Iitti’s summer café and pink ice cream kiosk, the red wooden cruciform church of Iitti, the performance stage of Iitti’s amateur theater group, and the home beach of Iitti’s Church Boat rowers are all just a few kilometers away from Lomakivi.
