At the Environmental Youth Hostel in Büdingen, you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the forest and experience nature up close. The huge grounds offer countless opportunities to run around, explore, relax and enjoy the outdoors.
We are also leading the way in terms of sustainability: only meat-free dishes are served here! The Büdingen Youth Hostel is the first completely vegetarian youth hostel in Germany. Start your day with a delicious breakfast and enjoy homemade honey from the hostel’s own bees!

You can experience history at every turn in the town, just a short walk from the youth hostel. Büdingen is considered one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. The massive battlements, towers and the princely castle, which is still inhabited today, bring the olden days to life. A visit to the modern Celtic world at Glauberg or a trip to the amusement park in Steinau are also exciting.
