Danhostel Gjerrild is housed in a charming railway shed on the tip of Djursland in a small village. It is close to a splendid beach with great fishing opportunities. The hostel is surrounded by a large, beautiful beech forest with hiking paths. It is close to the monastery, Sostrup Castle. Our hostel has 24 clean, comfortable rooms, 20 of which are en-suite. We have a cosy TV lounge and provide laundry facilities. Rent a bicycle and tour the town and surrounding areas such as Grenå, Århus and Randers. Some attractions close by are Djurs Sommerland Amusement Park and the Kattegat Centre. The surrounding area is perfect for families with children and guests who would like an active holiday.
