Gasthaus Vanha-Merivartioasema (Gasthaus Old Sea Guard Station) is located in a unique nature area in Kotka, which amazes with its beauty, clean air and unique landscapes. The hostel has a shared kitchen and lounge where the sea guards worked and spent their weekdays.

Katariinanpuisto park starts almost immediately after Mansikkalahti beach, and in addition, Sapokan puisto park and Kivipuisto park are also just a 5-minute walk away. The marina is located approximately 300 meters from the hostel. Kotka is Finland’s park capital, where you can find numerous archipelago and fishing trips, Maritime Center Vellamo and Maretarium aquarium.
