Just 10 minutes’ walk from Dukezong Old Town, Shangri-La Baita International YH boats Tibetan-style decoration and a great garden that’s wonderful for relaxing in after a long journey. It’s also easy to get to, with Diqing Shangri-La Airport a 10 minute drive away and Shangri-La Coach Terminal a 15 minute drive away.All rooms at the hostel have a seating area and cable TV and there are shared bathrooms which include shower facilities, a hairdryer and free toiletries. There’s also free Wi-Fi in all areas, a shared kitchen, more than 200 free books for guests to read, a dart board and an on-site bar that serves Tibetan meals. For those who wish to explore the surroundings by themselves, bike and car rental are available. Shangri-La Baita International YH is a 15 minute drive from Shika Snow Mountain and Napa Lake. Gedan Songzanlin Temple is about 20 minutes’ drive away. Getting to the hostel: About 3.5 km to out hostel. There is no shuttle from airport to our hostel but we can pick up you from airport. The fare is 20 RMB/car. If you arrive Shangri-La by bus at bus station you can take Route 3 or 7 bus to Bubusheng Hotel then walk on a road about 500m on the opposite of this hotel and turn left walk about 500m on the end of this road you will see a blue board wrote ‘Baita Youth Hostel’.
