The UnduΓ©s de Lerda Hostel is one of the most modern on the Aragonese Camino de Santiago. It has 42 bunk beds, divided into rooms for six, four and ten people. Equipped with three shared bathrooms and one in the ten-bed dormitory, the building has a relaxation area on the ground floor, as well as a washing machine, dryer and microwave. Possibility of having breakfast in the tavern or ordering breakfast early in the morning.
There is also a restaurant-bar.
UnduΓ©s is the last of the Aragonese towns through which the Camino de Santiago runs, entering the town along a section of old Roman road.
Its urban centre has a layout of medieval origin around the Church of San MartΓn, inside which a baptismal font from the 13th century is preserved. It has among its buildings interesting examples of popular Aragonese architecture, a two-story Gothic building, the 15th century Town Hall. made of masonry and brick and two palace houses from the 18th century.
Located just 4 km from the impressive Javier Castle, 10 km from Sos del Rey CatΓ³lico and SangΓΌesa, 15 km from the Leyre Monastery, 50 km from Pamplona, ββRoncal Valley and San Juan de la PeΓ±a, 130 km from Zaragoza and the beach of La Concha in San Sebastian, it’s a great location to explore!
