The La Sala hostel is located in an important forest area of the Lower-Pyrenees, near the source of the Llobregat river. The geographical environment of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park and the magnificent Catllaràs mountain range allow us to offer an environmental education proposal of great interest and quality, as well as an ideal place for rest or hiking.
The human footprint of the Valley is marked both by the old mining activity, of which the old Asland cement factory and the Güell chalet are preserved, and by the work of Antoni Gaudí, of whose work we find significant examples such as the Artigas gardens and the Catllaràs chalet.
The house is designed to accommodate schools, leisure centers, groups of friends or entities and is especially designed for family stays on weekends and in summer.
Its new rooms with bathroom and large outdoor space make family stays easier. It has 163 beds, distributed in rooms with 4 to 12 beds (with and without bathroom) distributed in 3 dormitory buildings. The hostel is surrounded by esplanades suitable for play and forests.
