Overall we enjoyed our stay, the ventilation of the room wasn't very good, too hot and dry (soar throat) but the rooms are spacey and clean and the beds are comfy. My only complain is that as a member (and coworker) of Hosteling International we did not get any discount. I booked a private room for 4 but I was the only one with a membership, for this reason I did not get any discount but as far as I know the discount should apply at least for myself. That was very disappointing.

Great location, helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms, decent kitchen, but sleep was difficult both nights because 2 guests in this 6 bed dorm I stayed in were inconsiderate and disruptive to the point where security had to be called because a lengthy argument between these two people, turned to physical violence - all of us in that dorm were shaken and upset by this, little sleep was had for 2 nights and no compensation was offered.

Breakfast is too expensive; there are cheaper options available close by. You need some decent beer in your bar

We liked the location and the very helpful staff. The bar was pleasant and not too busy (despite the huge number of groups and teenagers!). The noise levels were a problem, with parties and noise on our floor til 3am on one night. I didn’t see recycling facilities and I wasn’t aware of the kitchen til the last day so would have been good to access this to save eating out all the time. Shower was weak and didnt drain well.
