Danhostel Thyborøn sits in the middle of Thyborøn, between the North Sea and Limfjord. It is close to a well-preserved harbour and one of Denmark’s best beaches. There are thirty-seven beds in fifteen cosy rooms, all with televisions and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have private bathrooms. There is also a fitness centre/gym, and a newly renovated campsite right at the edge of the North Sea. You can enjoy their delicious buffet breakfast served each day in the dining room or use the cosy covered patio with picnic tables and BBQs. Play billiards and table football, rent a bicycle or relax in the large living room.
Thyborøn is home to one of Denmark’s largest fishing ports, with lots of activities available each year. The rugged and beautiful West Jutland landscape offers the chance to hike in the dunes or take a refreshing dip in the cool blue waters. You could even set off early in the morning to catch the fish auction at the port and then enjoy some fresh grilled fish from the hostel barbecues!
