Hostel Cafe Huvila offers a unique accommodation experience in Toppilansalmi, Oulu, about 3 km from the city centre. This historic villa, built in 1856 as a manor for the Mallasjuoma brewery, has been lovingly restored with guest comfort in mind. The hostel has a total of 30 beds: one private double room and five dormitory-style rooms accommodating 4-6 guests. The villa’s charming rooms are named after the children of the historical Åström family, who lived in the villa in the late 19th century.
Guests can enjoy shared kitchen facilities, cosy lounge areas, and shared bathrooms. The accommodation price includes bed linen, towels, and basic breakfast supplies. Some rooms are also pet-friendly.
The hostel offers flexible self-check-in with an access code, allowing guests to arrive according to their own schedule. Check-in is after 3 p.m., and check-out is before 12 p.m. There is plenty of parking space available in the hostel’s yard.
